We are proud to report that our inaugural Bowling for Breastcancer.org event was a great success. With 55 people in attendance, the event raised over $2,500, helping to achieve Breastcancer.org’s 2009 community fundraising goal of $50,000, during the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We couldn’t have done it without the amazing support we received from local businesses, including Double D’s Sourdough Pizza. Double D’s graciously delivered 4 pizzas and garlic rolls for our event, donated two pizzas as raffle prizes, and will be donating 10% of all sales from pizzas ordered on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 to Breastcancer.org.

To participate, simply place any order with Double D’s Pizza on Wednesday, November 4th, and mention that your order is part of the Breastcancer.org fundraiser. Orders can be dine-in (Westminster), pick-up, or delivery at both locations.
