Mmmmm… the smell of fresh coffee in the morning makes a happy programmer/designer/usability tester/marketing manager…
Long story short: we love coffee here at Foraker. And we are such coffee addicts that we insist on having the freshest, best coffee we can get our hands on. (We even have one of those fancy grinders.) Enter some exciting news: Foraker is now a wholesale customer of Kaladi Brothers Coffee, straight from the Land of the Midnight Sun in Anchorage, Alaska. With coffees ranging from Ethiopian Yirgacheffe to La Capra Organic to Red Goat Organic (Kaladi’s signature blend), there is something for everyone.
Foraker’s relationship with Kaladi Brothers Coffee began many years ago, when our Vice President Derek Olson lived in Alaska running a kitchen with Alaska Wildland Adventures. Derek and fellow AWA staffers used to stop by Kaladi for road coffee when they went up to Anchorage on errands for work. Kaladi started as a small espresso cart…and because of its awesomeness, and people like Derek who drink buckets of coffee, it has now grown into Alaska’s premier coffee roaster, roasting and distributing more than a million pounds of coffee every year.
Foraker is proud to have this strong business partnership with Kaladi. May the coffee keep on percolating…
Emily spends her time at Foraker handling calls from the outside world and making sure the rest of the staff can operate in an organized and coffee-infused environment. When she isn't screening calls from telemarketers, you can find Emily both on and off the stage as an opera singer and a stage manager.
